everything in
it's right place

had some really nice food today. went to a posh restaurant in st kilda in a hotel called 'circa de prince' or something like that. was soo full. and then bought a nice painting! a bit abstract-ish. initially was going to post a picture of it up here, but now i'm just too lazy.

dinner was even more spectecular. a fusion restaurant, lots of spices and herbs in it. also another posh restaurant, but surprisingly, relatively empty. later found out the reason for that; tonight was the closing cermony of the commonwealth games! and my mom and i couldn't imagine our fantastic luck - just as we got off the tram, the fireworks parade began. and only then did i notice the sea of people surrounding the yarra river. was really great, the whole river being lined with fireworks. made quite a pleasent end to an entire day of eating.

it did manage to draw a minute drop of happiness to my otherwise rather pathetically depressing weekend.
